The Milke Way

“What am I in most people’s eyes? A nonentity or an eccentric and disagreeable man–somebody who has no position in society and never will have, in short, the lowest of the low. Very well, even if this were true, I should want my work to show what is in the heart of such an eccentric, of such a nobody.” Vincent VanGogh

Limey basta… October 20, 2007

So as you might have guessed, I’m in a creative/goofy mood.

I thought perhaps my new lemon friend might get lonely so I painted her a lime.

Meet Mr.LimeLimes

Oh and in case you feel like grooving to some citrus tunes heres,

“Lime in the Coconut” as performed by Kermit DE Frog.

Enjoy people! :P

I think every artist’s portfolio has a few lemons.

So here’s mine. :P

Lemon

Not much to say really, nothing spectacular just a lemon.

“Life” complete with “sex” October 20, 2007

Ok, well it’s finished, “life” that is. Or at least as finished as it’s going to get for a while.

But first, let’s look at sex.

This piece was hard to get to.

I think the problem was that I was looking at what sex is and could be and forgot all about what it is to me.
I’m not real concerned if you get it or not, because frankly I think you’d have to be inside my head to fully understand it.

(And the thought of you all walking around in there is a pretty scary concept. That and the fact that I wouldn’t want liability suits springing up because you tripped/fell over something, it is pretty cluttered :P )

Either way, here it is. “Sex”~ Life seriesPlease do still feel free to comment.

Alright, here’s Life Series“Life” as it currently stands.

I’ve decided that I won’t just drop the project, but add to it as things come up in my life.

So, section 1 of “life” is complete.

Cheers,

A

and now back to the ART October 20, 2007

As I mentioned earlier in the week, I’ve been toying with the idea of changing the background of the “Tribal Holding” piece (#4 in the Hold Me series) to a darker solid red.

So that’s what I did this morning and am glad I did.

You can be the judge for yourself, but I think it gave it that extra edge it was missing.

Here’s the before,—–>Hold Me #4 Here’s the after,—–>Tribal holding revised

So ya, now I’m completely satisfied with it. :)

Keep checking back, I’m hoping to add a few more things later today.

Cheers,

A
